Product Instructions	Washing Welltex® products can be machine washed at 30 degrees Centigrade with household wash detergents. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Do not tumble dry. Air dry. The ceramic powder in Welltex® products is fused in the fibres of polyester/polypropylene/cotton and does not separate when washed. Ironing Welltex® products should be ironed at a maximum temperature of 50 C. Welltex® Fabric Welltex® products contain 100% polypropylene (PP) with infused bio-ceramic powder or are a 50% polyester and 50% cotton mix with infused bio-ceramic powder. Welltex® products have been developed for Humans, Horses, and Dogs. The bio ceramic infused into Welltex® product thread results in the fabric’s ability to reflect body infra red heat waves back into the originating body. The result is an increase in blood circulation and oxygen delivery often resulting in pain reduction. Use of bio ceramic Welltex® products should be implemented gradually. It is recommended that Welltex® products be used for a maximum of four hours a day for the first 2-3 days. This allows your dog’s body time to familiarize itself with the fabric’s effects. The rational for first time Welltex® product use (no more than 4 hours during a 24-hour cycle) is that a slight increase in pain may be experienced by a dog when a Welltex® product is used for the first time and left on too long. It manifests itself as a swelling. This effect is due to increased blood circulation, which is a good indicator the ceramic in the Welltex® fabric is taking effect. This initial pain or swelling may occur after a few hours of use. If this happens adjust the time the product is used during a 24-hour cycle until there is no further pain or swelling. After introducing the product to your dog’s body over several days, increase the usage to a minimum of 8 hours per day, preferably more. Positive effects on tight muscles and stiff joints are often experienced after a few hours of use. More persistent problems may require 10-21 days of use, before the desired result is achieved. Since the Welltex® ceramic fabric reflects more of the body’s heat radiation as you move, its effect is greatest if products are worn when your dog is active. However, Welltex® products are also effective when your dog is resting or sleeping. It is suggested that Welltex® product use be reduced after 21 consecutive days of use to avoid dependency. The sensitivity of this dependency varies from dog to dog. For maximum effect, Welltex® fabric should be in direct contact with the skin. For dogs, the standard Dog Rug which is rain repellent and breathable is often used. However, it should be noted that for long-running problems, Welltex® products should be used for up to 21 days, at least 8 hours per day, with regular breaks to achieve the desired results. This means that a dog can use a Welltex® dog rug day and night, indoor as well as outdoor, 24/7. If being used at night, it is probably more comfortable for the dog to wear the Welltex® Mesh Rug, which is a lighter rug. Alternatively, the dog may be provided with a Welltex® dog mattress with "memory foam" which molds itself to the shape of the dog’s body or a Welltex® dog crate liner. Note: Caution is advised when using Welltex® products simultaneously with liniment, since some liniments may amplify the Welltex® effect. Use the product only as directed and consult a doctor if symptoms persist.

How do I use Back on Track products?

We recommend an introduction time of 2-4 hours/day for the first 3-5 days to get the body used to the effects, but the length of introduction can vary between individuals. Use your judgment to determine when ready for longer use. For the best results, after the introduction time, use the products for longer periods of time daily – such as overnight. Every 3-4 weeks we recommend not using the products for 3-6 days. The period of discontinued use is for you to assess/reassess the progress of your horse or dog and even yourself. Products may be worn for a period of 1-24 hours a day after the introductory period. For use with dogs and horses, we recommend removing our products for 3-4 hours a day to give the animal a break from the effects.

Can the products be used in hot temperatures?

Yes. We do recommend using the products in the cooler parts of the day and for shorter periods of time during the warmer summer months, however, this is your personal preference. Use your best judgement when using our products on your animals on a hot day. Using them for smaller amounts of time throughout the day is better than not using them at all.

After I have discontinued using my Back on Track product and then decide later that I would like to begin using it again, do I need to start over with the introductory period?

Depending on how long it has not been used, it may be necessary to start the introductory period again. Use common sense and see how your body feels and reacts.

How long do Back on Track products remain effective?

The effectiveness of BOT products will not change over time since you cannot wash out the Welltex® fibers infused in the threads. If you have been using our products for a long period of time and feel you don’t see the same results as you did at the beginning, simply take a break for a week and try again. While using our products over time you may get used to the Welltex® effect and start to think you are no longer being helped.

Why use Back on Track products when there are no injuries?

The improved blood circulation from the use of BOT products will help to maintain the over-all well-being of the body tissues, even in health. It may also help prevent injuries in the future by improving over-all resilience of the body.

If using Back on Track products causes increased circulation and swelling occurs, will it go away?

Take a break from wearing the product until the swelling goes down, then begin using it again. Wear it for only a few hours to minimize the chance of swelling again until the body gets used to the increased blood circulation from wearing the product.

What is the difference between Back on Track products and magnet technology?

The Welltex material utilizes the body’s own energy and reflects that energy back into the tissues as far-infrared wavelengths which penetrate deeper than just warmth to affect the tissues and the blood vessels, whereas products with magnet technology utilize the magnetic field.

How do I wash Back on Track products?

Machine wash in warm water and a mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Hang to dry.

Will Back on Track products shrink?

No, providing you follow the washing instructions that come with each product. Products are not to be put into a clothes dryer and bleach should not be used in the washing process.

Can liniments be used with Back on Track products?

Caution is advised when using Welltex® products simultaneously with liniment, since some liniments may amplify the Welltex® effect. Use the product only as directed and consult a doctor if symptoms persist. Do not use products that will generate heat. Use your own common sense to see how you or your animal reacts.

How much support do the Back on Track brace products provide?

Back on Track brace products provide limited support. They are designed as therapeutic products that increase blood circulation and in turn may help reduce inflammation in muscles and joints. Our self fastening Knee Brace and Back Braces provide more support than our other therapeutic brace products, but they should not be used to replace physician prescribed support braces.

Will I experience the Welltex® effect if my Back on Track product is worn over other clothing?

BOT products need to be next to the skin or hair of animals for the product to give the best effect. However, the Back Brace can be worn over a thin shirt and the Mattress Overlay should be used under regular sheets.

Can I use Welltex® products while pregnant?

No. Do not use during pregnancy.
