The wither and spine is lined with Welltex(R) material that encourages circulation. Specialty FIR blankets by Back on Track are fused with a safe formula of bio-ceramics called Welltex® emitting beneficial light rays of far infrared energy. These safe waves of FIR energy help increase the circulation and reduce inflammation. Soothing infrared wavelengths help to increase blood flow, which provides nutrients, oxygen and proteins to the area to help relieve pain and inflammation. These special horse blankets are energized by the power of far infrared rays.
Designed and shaped to support the back and shoulder musculature of the horse. Anatomic design of attached surcingle’s to prevent pressure points on the muscles. Just disappointed as it ripped the first night my mare had it on , she was in a stall with sawdust bedding .. not sure what It got ripped on .. think the mesh needs to be tougher : Love BOC 😊

Bought two for my barrel horses, they are great for traveling keeps my horses feeling great and no sweat. Pull my saddles off between races as they where hot and wet under there saddle pads after less then 30 mins of putting blankets back on they where dry again! Another great product from back on tack!
