The Frost Turnout Rug delivers protection from the harsh elements while providing the therapeutic comforts of Welltex® FIR for the entire body. The Frost helps to maximize blood flow in cold temperatures. Older horses winter well with this blanket thanks to the comfort it provides, and competitive horses relax in it. Injured horses or horses with sore a back and tights muscles especially find comfort by wearing the Frost.
The Frost features shoulder pleats, cross surcingles, a double, adjustable front closure and tail flap. The outer liner is 1680 denier, with a “water column value” of 3000mm (normal values are between 1500 mm and 2000 mm), making it a practical choice for wet conditions.
This cold weather blanket has 330g of insulated filling, is lined with Welltex®, and has a breathable Polyester outer liner.
This rug fits true to size, and sits higher on the neck with a European style cut.

Huge difference in my 18 year old mare. It fits beautifully with freedom of movement and has comfort sections at the neck and chest to avoid chafing and tightness. Well made and a lot sturdier than most blankets I’ve owned over 18yrs. I would definitely buy again and definitely recommend.
The only think I wish they would do is a hooded version for the extreme weather days.

Absolutely love the frost rug! My 18yr old gelding is moving much better and has no stockiness in his legs with this on 24/7 now.

I didn’t receive an 84 sized blanket it was an 87 with my order , so other than wrong size the order did come fast and I do love the frost rug blanket! But I would of liked an 84
